Sci-Fi & Fantasy Book Box

Came within 10 days in great condition with a book that looks really interesting! I'll keep this subscription for now for sure!

One of the books was the third book in a trilogy I'd never heard of. I'm always keen to read new books I wouldn't come across on my own, but this is useless to me if I don't purchase the previous two first. I also subscribed to two boxes, with the Surprise Me! option on drinks, and was sent the exact same teas in both. I assume they were packaged at the same time so this seems like quite a lazy choice. One of the biscuits was past its best before date as well. I'm going to continue with the subscription service for another month, but if I receive another book that's part of a series designed to be read in order (if it isn't the first book, at least) I will definitely be cancelling both boxes.
