Gateron KS-8 Mechanical Switch Set

Worked perfectly on my SteelSeries Apex 7

I had an LED go bad on my SteelSeries Apex 7. The KS-8 is not an exact replacement to the switches used on this keyboard, but they're nearly identical. I had to desolder the switch and LED off the circuit board, then clip a couple small plastic tabs off of the replacement switch. After this, I was easily able to solder in the modified KS-8 switch along with a new LED. Now my keyboard is back to full functionality!

Awesome buy.

Love the switches. Cheap, but great. Recommended lubing them for a smooth feel but can’t understand why people buy more expensive switches with this as an option.
