Quite OK
My daughter (10) hated biking. It was dad’s sport. She liked knitting and guinea pigs. Then I got her this bike and a pass for Crank It Up and it all changed. Now she has a normal addiction to air time and tells me if her tire pressure is off by 3psi, asked to cut her handlebars down and change grips and was really picky with her suspension setup and handlebar layout. I guess that is a good thing? Now she is working on her speed so she can graduate to clearing everything on c-more. I think having a proper bike for kids is not a bad thing at all.(pic from O Sin)

Upgrade from early rider X24!
My son went from an early rider hellion X24 to this and felt the upgrade immediately. I do have some feedback to better dial in the bike, but I'm sure part of the limitation is the manufacturer offering discounts for speccing more parts on a bike. 1. needs a dropper (technically it says its not to be used as a DH bike so of course it should havea dropper), I managed to fit a 120mm oneup. 2. Cranks are too long. 140 or 145mm would be more suitable. 3. An 10 or 11 speed drivetrain would be sufficient. Still a 5* bike but not its truly dialed for my son to send!
