The Reception Dress of My Dreams

I’ve searched high and low for the perfect reception dress but nothing felt right until I saw the Steph style. I wanted a dress that wouldn’t break the bank with a low back, large bow in the back, no cowl neck/modest coverage in the front, and ideally straps to properly hold the dress up. When this style was released in December, I ordered immediately in White Pearl Crepe with the hopes that it’ll arrive in time before my 3/26/23 wedding. It arrived a whole month earlier (in late Feb) than expected! When I tried it on, I knew it was THE ONE (the same feeling I got with my original wedding dress). It’s everything I could ever want in a reception dress!! :heart_eyes: I‘m wearing a 4 Petite - it fits true to size and no need for hemming unless I plan to wear flats (I’m 5’0” wearing 3 inch heels).

Not for me

This dress was a bridesmaid dress for a wedding I was in. The material is heavy in weight and uncomfortable. It was not flattering for my body type. It was loose around the waist and the bow made my waist look wider and made me look square. The neckline made it look like a child's dress for smaller chested people like myself. I would say I could have gone with a petite dress, but I didn't want the slit to be too high so I went with the regular length. I did not like the dress, but maybe would be better for a different body type.

Loved my dress I ordered! Not heavy at all and it was pretty true to size. Came when it said it was supposed so timing is accurate!! Also it fit my chest really well and because of the back, I was worried about the bra. Having built in cups was a game changer
