Sizing was true to guide, performed very well with a synthetic base layer in late winter. Was warm, waterproof & noticeably less sweaty than neoprene or dry suit. Wrists were not a true seal but kept out 90% of the water when using a Greenland paddle. One negative. There was a taped seam at the back of the neck which produced sharp edges that scraped across the skin every time I moved my head. I solved this by glueing a piece of fleece over the seam. However it would have been nice if the neck had been finished in the same way as the wrists. Overall first rate piece of equipment.

Aquatherm fleece

I discovered Reed 20 years ago and have found their ChillCheater tops ideal for a range of water activities. Even the best materials degrade over time and when the time came for a new one, I knew where to go. I reached out to Reed and asked if the Aquatherm fleece top could be made longer. I find they can ride up around the waist and the extra length means it can be tucked under a weight-belt or a harness (for example). Reed got the job done and in 48 hrs I had the customised top ready to go. Amazing company and an excellent product. Thank you.

Nice product - but no stretch.

This is very well made and looks warm. But it is small and difficult to get into. I had expected something with a bit of stretch and flexibility. This material doesn't stretch at all. Keep that in mind when you order.
