They are ridgid plastic edge protectors. We're a rental store, we use them on racks of china. We stack several racks on a 4 wheel dolly then bind them together with a 1" ratchet strap. Some of the racks are a lighter weight and the straps would brake the horizontal supports of the racks. Now these edge protectors disperse the pressure and no more breakage.
