I love this topper and have 4 of them. I just take it out of the box and wear it. No thinning or cutting bangs. My only issue has been with short hairs on top that stick up and I can't seem to get them to lay flat. I have found most toppers to be way too much hair and this one is very light weight and just the right amount of hair.
