Matsuba Sencha

Definitely recommended!

This sencha can be brewed FOUR TIMES... not kidding. Three the traditional way (make sure to change time/temp as recommended for each). But wait! Then, scoop the spent tea leaves into a glass of filtered water, seal it, and place in fridge. 12hrs later... that most lovely cool, green tea cold-brewed/ flavored water to drink! So much value at every stage!

I received the Matsuba Sencha as a sample with my order and was so pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The tea tasted incredibly fresh, with a lovely balance of sweetness, umami, and that clean vegetal character I love in Japanese sencha. It was especially enjoyable brewed in my new Tokoname kyusu. I’ll definitely be considering a full-size bag with my next order.

One of my favorite senchas. I would drink it everyday if I could but that would hurt the wallet ahaha!
