It's winter and I live in Montana. My typically bare ankles are covered in these pants! I've worn them running 2x. The material on the front breaks the wind. The fabric in the back allows for some breathing of sweat. Overall, way warmer than typical running leggings/pants. They're cute! I'm 6 feet tall. the extra tall came right down to the top of my shoes
