MST Cold Air Intake For 2014-2018 VOLVO S60 & V60 Drive-E

If you're like me, you want to hear you car working and know what it's doing, so of course I wanted to hear the supercharger at full chat. Not only does it sound like a Hellcat Jr, throttle response is immediately improved, it appears to breathe easier across the rev range, making the handoff to the turbo more forceful. Of course, these are Butt Dyno numbers with Polestar Optimization, your mileage and experience may vary. The noise is present with windows down or up, and never gets absurdly loud or interferes with conversation, unless you want to bring up the topic of, "guess what that noise is" to your passenger. Note that the supercharger is not audible unless it's in gear and under load. So no fancy noise in Park or Neutral, no big deal. At this price point, it's practically a steal. Installation was a cinch, and I appreciate that the MST model includes a lid for high ambient temperatures. While you get more noise with the lid off, it does run the possibility of some heatsoak, although it hasn't been warm enough near me to experience it. It definitely looks the part in the engine bay. To sum up: It's pretty rad; seriously, just get this thing and increase the enjoyment of your Drive-E twincharged engine. It never fails to make me smile, and my V60 never turned heads until the supercharger could be heard whining away from 1500-3500RPM.
