Very practical cleaning kit

This kit will fit most Sailor pens and does a very good job at flushing the nib and feed with clean water. The syringe takes about 3 ml of water, which is just about OK, as the feed and nib will have much less ink. You can adapt a flexible tube (like an air tube, obtained in any pet shop that sells aquariums) and use the system in any other fountain pen, which is very practical. This kit is supplied with a blunt needle, which you can use to get the very last drops of ink from your ink bottle and add it to a converter or an empty cartridge. The kit brings an empty cartridge that can be used in most Sailor pens. It will take about 1ml of ink, more than most international type cartridges or the conventional converters used in European pens. I recommend this cleaning kit. It does a very good job cleaning your feed and nib whenever you change the ink or simply as a practical way of refiling your empty cartridge.

I highly recommend this kit for anyone with a single or multiple Sailor pens. It makes pen cleaning much faster and easier, and I now wish I had a similar tool for my other pens.
