This awesome coat makes sure I stay nice and toasty, and when paired with my American tall sweater, I'm even toastier!

Long Sleeves But Deceptive

Measured my sleeve length per website instructions with 40-41” measured with side arm resting. 2XL Extra Tall advertised 40” sleeve length and went with that option. When wearing the jacket, the sleeves ride up leaving 1”of wrist exposed requiring some gentle tugging down. When placing hand over heart there is even more exposure (2”) to the forearm. Reaching for objects also causes the jacket sleeves to ride up the arm. My advice is to get 2” more than your measured length due to reach and sleeves receding with movement. As far as warmth, this is the first “puffer” style jacket and it’s alright in 20-30f weather but doesn’t feel quite as durable or insulated as heavier leather/denser fabric. A couple pieces of threading also pulled when trying to cover wrists with sleeves. Best options still seem to be tailor made :(

Finally, sleeves that are long enough!

Great sleeve length and accurate sizing guide. Would love to see some more technical high quality outdoor materials and garments created eventually. This same garment in a high fill power down and waterproof, breathable material with DWR would be perfect. It would make this jacket lighter and much more compressible for traveling.
