Moza Racing HGP Shifter (Pre-Order)

Perfect vector or price, performance, and simplicity

Coming from a modded TH8A, this shifter feels very similar in build quality on the outside, although moderately less substantial due to the thinner metal enclosure. The stock metal detents are snappy and give good feedback but are needlessly loud. If you aren't worried about noise, I suppose this isn't a major issue. There are no rubber or plastic bushings are present, lending to a precise but vaguely artificial feel. I immediately modded mine, replacing the metal ball bearing spring plungers with nylon balls and stiffer springs, and while it lost some precision and 'snappy-ness', it also no longer sounds like throwing marbles at a toilet bowl every time I shift gears while still being immeasurably better than my modded Thrustmaster unit I came from. I would find it hard to believe this thing can be beat for the price, especially considering that for the investment I still immediately felt comfortable disassembling and poking around the innards to modify to taste. Great value.
