Liked the shape but they were to little for me

If these are titanium, do they have a coating of something else? My ears itch when I wear these. It doesn't happen when I wear my other titanium earrings I purchased from Simply Whispers. I do like the way they look, though.

Yes they look small in the pic, but in person they are suuuuuper small. Maybe it's the shape of my ear and where it's pierced. I was expecting it to feel a little chunkier. The very short curve is a little weird to put through my ear. Decided to keep them anyway.
