Cotton quality change

I bought these sheets a couple of years ago and absolutely loved the crisp soft quality. They were lovely and smooth. I'm really sad that my replacement sheets are not the same quality. They have a rougher texture. As a fabric technologist, I know the quality is not the same, they feel thinner, the thread count has changed, and the finishing process is not the same, and sadly they don't have the same crispness and cold feel at night which I enjoyed on my first order.
