Awesome customer service from Alfred! I had trouble with the first fuse he sent me. He was very patient, understanding, and helped me figure out the problem without ever making me feel like it was a burden. As for the fuse itself, it sounds great! The Purple fuses I have in my system took my system to a completely new level and the Pink fuse in my Luxman amp brings it another step further. I don’t know how or why but the impact in my system is more significant than any other upgrade or tweak I’ve tried!

More than surprised...

I've used various brands of fuses in the past here and there in multiple components and have never been that impressed until I tried the Purple fuse in my LAmpizator Golden Atlantic DAC. At first, it sounded rough and not to my liking. I tried to like it but the stock fuse sounded better until I switched its orientation, now what a difference, the music just opened up. I was pleased until the fuse decided to die on start-up. I contacted Alfred about the untimely demise and was told that this wasn't uncommon and to size up a wee bit on the replacement or if would I want to try the Pink variation for the price difference. I did and I honestly can't believe the difference between the two. Everything that was nuanced before is more pronounced, it's as if that fine veil has been lifted and what you imagined is now very real. More than worth the cost in my opinion.
