Reptile Mister – Fine-Mist Terrarium & Chameleon Sprayer

A few minor glitches.

I lothe mister and the spray pattern is great. However there are some issues. First, after some use there is a black ring that forms in the compression tube. This ends causing the o-ring on the piston to slip or come off making the pump worthless. I almost sent both of these back. But, it seems that black ring is what the pump was lubricated with and if you remove compression tube occasionally, clean with a bottle brush and lubricate the o-ring, I used petrolatum, it will work like new again. Secondly, I would like to see some higher capacity versions. I mist about 30 habitats and animals and I have to refill about 5 times. Either a half gallon bottle set up like they are now, or a gallon bottle with the pump on the bottle and a hose going to the sprayer assembly.

Started using this the other day, so far the unit works great.
