Carrack Expedition Kit Model (1:500)

Great overall kit for one of my favorite ship

Let me start with this; isn't it annoying when you do an ERT and one of them is a Carrack and you down it and it's full of weevil eggs but the damn cargo modules can't be opened and the containers don't pass through those tiny doors? It is right!! First thing you should know is that this kit has droppable container pods AND one of them is opened!!!! The fun doesn't stop there; it comes with an Ursa, a landed C8 and a flying C8! You can set the Carrack with its garage door opened or closed, hangar door opened or closed, turrets active or idle, landed or in flight and with the scanning antennae out or stowed! None of those options are permanent; you see the kit comes with magnets and you attach said magnets to parts! Want the garage door opened? Take out the closed garage door with a nifty little tool that's included and stick the opened garage door on the Carrack and now you have a garage door opened! Not only does it come with all of that including the droppable and the opened cargo pod but it also is lag free, 30k free and refueling is free! The model comes in a great package with a very well finished instruction book that contains information on the Carrack as well as nice pictures for painting reference. The whole kit is just well thought out from the opening the box experience to understanding how to build it to building it to enjoying it once it's built! If you've built plastic models before, this will be fun and easy. If you've never built plastic models before; this will still be easy! Just take your time and read the instruction booklet carefully as well as follow the videos on the website. Now that I have one of my dream ship I need 4 more; the Vulture, the F8C, the MSR and the Idris. :)

Well packaged and the model is excellent quality with a very high level of detail.
