Sturdy and Effective!

The items arrived in well packed boxes. Every item was in perfect condition. Putting up our night stand was simple. It was nice to have two people as the night stands were sturdy and heavy and substantial. I feel the night stands were exactly as represented. Measurements were exact. It fit our location perfectly. I would highly recommend. The price accurately presents the quality of the furniture. Looks nice, fits perfect.

Nice quality poor quality control. The top doesnt match earlier models and have blemishes that shouldnt exist at this price point.

The Thuma Experience

We purchased the Bed + Headboard (Cal. King size) plus two Open Nightstands. The furniture, once wrestled upstairs and assembled, looks great and is solidly built. However, the claim that one person can do the heavy lifting job of moving the five boxes that they came in and assembling them is, to put it mildly, an overstatement. In our case, that one person would have had to have been one in a hundred (We hired a couple of movers to haul the boxes.). Looking back, it would have been possible to open the boxes where they were deposited - in front of the front door - then carrying individual pieces through the house and up the stairs, but that would amount to quite a lot of trips up and down the stairs. In fairness, one person assembly can readily be accomplished once everything finds its place. On the customer relations front, I found the inability to speak directly with a human being to be exasperating. Yes, emails are answered fairly quickly but if you have anything other than routine questions or concerns the back and forth is time consuming and not always satisfactory. And delivery in 1 to 3 days is more of a target than a guarantee Yet I still gave Thuma 4 stars because, after all is said and done, the bed and nightstands are beautiful. .
