If you're like me, you got here after having a couple incredibly unpleasant allergic reactions to every other wax brand, stumbled upon Mermaid Wax on reddit, and are now reading reviews deciding if you should pull the trigger. I'm here to tell you YES, this is the only wax you'll ever need. Truly. If you've got sensitive, allergy prone skin, this is the brand for you. I'm a loyalist to Aurora, in part because it's color additive free (minus the mica), partially because it swirls around so pretty, and definitely in part that it makes it so easy to see the hairs when laying it down AND pulling it up. Mermaid Wax has definitely been the most forgiving in terms of stretch time, but also the best at getting those short short hairs too. Yes- they're pricey versus some other brands, but out of everything I've tried, it truly stands above the rest and makes up for the cost difference in quality. Every interaction I've had with staff has been so kind, informative, and helpful too!
