The kit doesn't say anything about requiring to order Rear Spring Insulators. When our technicians installed the kit to a client's vehicle, the springs were loose in their pockets. This is a safety concern, as if the rear axle becomes unloaded during any kind of driving (large pot hole, offroading, collision, etc) one or both rear springs could potentially dislodge, and cause even more of a concern for the driver. These components are Dealer Only for an OE style fitment, or there is an Energy Suspension option, for Polyurethane. Knowing that these needed to be ordered, and what the additional cost was, would have been a great asset for my client, as now his vehicle is sitting at our facility waiting for these components to arrive. When speaking with the tech line, I felt dismissed when I brought up this concern, and was told "we've never heard that before", which, as a back yard mechanic, I can see where someone may think nothing of the lack of insulator, but as a professional shop, we can not stand behind the install as it stands, nor should Strutmasters.
Other than that, install was straight forward, and the quality of the products provided seems good. Time will tell what performance will be like, as we are not the end-user of this product, just the installation facility.
