Deceptive Victory: A Young American Revolutionary War Adventure Book 4 (Paperback)

My 9 year old daughter loved these books. I first came across them when there were only four. She was always asking when the next book was coming out because she couldn’t wait to read more of the story (and she was sad when the story ended). I have since purchased a second full set and donated them to our school library. Thank you for writing such engaging stories that we can feel good about our kids reading.

I truly loved this set of books. When I finished reading I sent them to the first of 6 of our children with children of their own. I sent them to the oldest ones first. Our 16 year old granddaughter claimed them first and later in the day when I texted, she was already finished w/#1 and started on the next book. These books are very well written. I learned a lot from reading them. But for the grace of God, we would all be speaking w/a British accent.

Greetings, I have read all eight books in the series. I loved them all. Now I have given them to an eighth grade student to read. He has finished about the first four books. When he gets done we are going to get together and talk about them. This will not happen until after mid-July as I am leaving soon on a trip to Alaska. I feel they are perfect for young adult readers and would recommend them to anyone with children in grades 6-12. Thank you for writing this series and for the family friendly message they contain.
