4iiii PRECISION 3+ Left-Side Powermeter - Ride Ready

The most inconsistent power meter I’ve owned

I purchased the 4iiii PRECISION 3+ Left-Side Powermeter (Ride Ready, Shimano Ultegra FC-R8100 172.5mm) expecting a reliable product at the $450 price point. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. The power readings have been wildly inconsistent, to the point where I no longer trust the data. On some rides, the meter reports power numbers high enough to produce PR-level outputs, while on others it barely registers any effort at all. There have been multiple occasions where the power reading hovers below 100 watts, despite clearly riding at what feels like 150–200 watts. A power meter is only as valuable as the confidence you have in its accuracy, and this product has left me with very little confidence in the numbers it reports. I purchased it to train with reliable data, but the inconsistency has made it difficult to use as a trustworthy training tool.

Easy to install and use. Pairs easily with devices. App is handy and the metrics are very accurate! The service team is quick in response. I’ll be buying another one for a different bike!
