I have purchased two of the tall large 6 in diameter pillars. I keep them on a covered front porch, flanking the front door, on a wrought iron candle stand. The battery has lastedabout a year. The candles come on at dusk, and stay on till early the AM. Well made product. Very attractive, and creates a a cozy welcome as guests enter my home
