Keep your shorts dry
The DCF Rain Kilt is a great piece of gear. It goes on and off quickly, without removing my pack. I also use it as part of my ground sheet system, primarily to protect my inflatable pad from being punctured. Light and compact. It's a winner.
Since this was a gift I have no personal knowledge about the rain kilt. However he loves it and I think the kilt is an ingenious solution to rain while hiking. So many of zpack’s products seem to be well thought out.
