Samir Handwoven Area Rug

Love the textured simplicity of the design!

I bought this rug to replace another wool rug that was constantly shedding, to put on top of a wall-to-wall beige, apartment carpet. At first I was concerned because the loops seemed bigger, and the color was a little lighter than pictured. I put the rug down on the apartment carpet with a Nelson Platform Bench on top as a coffee table, and over a few days of “sitting" with it because it wasn’t exactly what I expected, I realized that it’s perfect. The larger loops actually worked well as a contrast to the apartment carpet, adding textural interest, and the lighter color worked better than if it had been darker. I love the simplicity of the design with the cross in the middle and the minimal loops. Another major plus was that I haven’t noticed much shedding at all. I’m very happy with my purchase!

This rug is soft on my feet, beautiful and well made! Love it!

Impressive Quality!

Consistent color and even texture (except where the lines are) this is a quality wool, popcorn berber. The berber loops are tight, yet large. And it’s soft to the touch! I am happy with this purchase.
