My waistcoat arrived today, and it fits perfectly. Before ordering, I called and received great advice on how to measure for a proper fit. I followed the instructions and placed my order online. Apparently, I am oddly shaped, and the next day, I got an email asking to confirm my measurements because the chest and waist/stomach were more than eight inches different. I confirmed and Townsend's trusted me, so I am delighted! Oh . . . and my item arrived two weeks sooner than it was promised, well in advance of my next event. Thanks!

I purchased this waistcoat for my interpretation of a clergyman from the late 18th century and am very pleased with what arrived. I made a mistake with the measurements of a previous waistcoat. The fault was clearly my own, but this firm was happy to exchange it for a new one made with the correct measurements. The replacement waistcoat fits perfectly and looks fantastic. Such service certainly deserves customer loyalty. I am a happy customer.
