Signature series Pre Wired SG harness kit.

I bought this kit to replace the stock pots and wiring which came with this Gibson SG with P90s, made in 2010. The new kit made a very noticeable improvement, and I'm very pleased with the result. I was thinking of selling this guitar, but not now.... with the new pots, switch and jack socket, wiring, slightly heavier strings and having adjusted the pickups so they're a bit lower, the guitar sounds a lot better. Gibson SG 61’ Reissue new pots and harness.

This is the second kit I’ve bought from James. I already had new wiring harness,pots kit fitted to my Les Paul R0 which has Custom buckers fitted to it but I thought the tone wasn’t quite ‘right’ to my ears…having been through the rabbit hole of new pick ups in different guitars before I thought I’d look into how I could get nearer the tone I wanted by changing the volume and tone pots first. After doing some research I came upon James House of Tone site…so bit the bullet and ordered a Gibson spec kit for the Lester,had my guitar tech fit it and wow!….the difference was night and day…well happy…neck pick opened up suberbly…lost that original woolly quality and retained its tone with the volume rolled back….same with the bridge Custom bucker pick up too….the same has happened with my SG 1961 reissue that has a pair of fantastic 57’ Classics fitted…it has really opened up the tone and retains the treble frequencies when you roll the volume down….especially on the neck pick up again. So all in all I can’t say enough good things about the 2 harness’s I’ve bought from James….also the quality,packaging of the product itself was top notch…Also his communication and knowledge and answering my questions before I bought them from him was second to none…I’m well chuffed.
