Protozoa Blend

Beautiful coffee. The beans arrived a couple of days after purchase, smelling freshly-roasted. The nose is full of ripe cherry, citrus, and damp soil. We brew it in our SimplyGood coffee machine and it’s an incredible cup. Balanced acidity, well-rounded bod, and just enough fruitiness in the finish to keep it interesting. Speciality coffee has been sorely in need of roasters like Biota, who are focused not just on quality and taste, but on the health of the soil, farmers, and ecosystems in which they’re grown. We love this coffee, will be buying more, and are looking forward to trying some of the single-origin offerings. Can’t recommend highly enough!

great balance of sweet and fruity. Versatile, I use it for espresso and filter. Mouthfeel is really syrupy
