Best quality wash i know of and can't figure out how the cost is cheaper than every other hand wash while located in Cali

I have always liked the washes at the Vernon, they have became so expensive I started going to the Today Truck Wash, but they did such a terrible job last time I decided to go back to the Vernon, which the guys did a better job than the Today - but I was highly disappointed in the wash I paid $65 more for. The wash I received was maybe worth $10 more than the wash I get at the Today. They hurried, missed all kinds of things, did a horrible job on the wipe down (the windshield only got wiped down below my visor). I realize it’s not a detail shop, but I also want to be happy when I leave, I wasn’t very happy. I’m not trying to be too critical, but you asked how my wash was and it wasn’t worth the price.
