Four Leg Standing Desk

Love it! Color slightly lighter than expected.

I really love my desk. I bought the white base with the cognac top. The top is slightly lighter than I expected, but it isn’t a deal breaker at all. My back is already better and I’ve only been using it for a week or so. Having the arrows and memory buttons on top makes it really easy to use and it adds to the clean/minimalistic aesthetic. I also have a lot of leg room under the desk because of the four leg design. I love it!

it's not a dream; it's just okay

This company really got into my head. I ordered this desk thinking it would transform my workspace and make spending long hours at a desk more enjoyable. Instead, it mostly reminds me how few good options there are in this category. Assembly was frustrating because the pre-drilled holes did not fully align. For anyone who is not particularly handy, this is a significant inconvenience. Even people with basic assembly skills should expect to spend at least 2–3 hours setting it up. As for aesthetics, the new dark wood finish is dull and cool-toned. “Ashy” is the best word I can think of to describe it. That is disappointing given the name “Cognac Oak,” which suggests a warmer, richer tone. The discontinued dark wood finish appeared deeper, warmer, and much more attractive overall. Cable management also feels like an afterthought, and there is no clear built-in power solution. Branch’s own clamp-on power accessory is incompatible with this desk. The lifting mechanism is generally smooth, but it occasionally moves down when I am pressing the up button or fails to respond unless I press the controls multiple times. Overall, this feels like an expensive upgrade that falls short of the “dream workstation” image the company markets. Between the cable management issues, the disappointing color, and some concerns about the motorized mechanism, I am unsatisfied but nevertheless better off than I was pre-purchase.

The desk was easy to set up. I had an issue with the control panel and customer service promptly resolved it! 10/10 would recommend!
