Extendable Arm Rod Set – Puppet Control Rods

Good in theory/some improvements required

The concept of these arm rods is excellent. The hooked end means they are easy to fit to the puppet and can be used for almost any puppet you may have. The only problem I have with them is that due to their circular telescopic design they “spin” as such making it difficult to point or gesture the puppets hand in a particular direction. This could be resolved by adding a “kink” into each telescopic section allowing it to lock into the section below creating a solid rod that does not spin. I purchased these along with Elroy, an excellent puppet, and because he does have some wire boning that leads into his arm I don’t think I will use the rods and instead just grab the puppets forearm to gesture.

Very Versitile

Simply great for use with any size puppet due to the adjustable length. A long reach with a short arm character.

Another Pubbet to Love!!

My Pubbet family grew a little bigger this Christmas with the addition of Elroy. He is settling in well with the rest of the Pubbet gang and is so adorable and absolutely loveable.
