Tough Coat

First time user for Tough Coat. Worked ok for the table top I put it on. I have worked with other “protective finishes ”. The extremely fast dry time of this product was a bit of a challenge at first. I’m waiting to see how it will hold up to regular daily usage.

Excellent product. Satin finish. Easy to work with.

I did not like it because the product does not dry into a smooth finish. I watched the tutorial video, I used a sponge and followed all the directions and it still has a textured finish. I was expecting it to dry smooth like an oil based varnish, so not sure if I did something wrong or if the product just works this way. I bought wet sandpaper and am going to try sanding it next. Not sure what I will do next time I need a clear coat on a fusion paint project but I'm not using this product again. I'm disappointed because I absolutely love Fusion paints and have recommended them to all my friends, who all use it now.
