13 Gallon | Nova Series UV Odor Neutralizing Smart Trash Can | ONT-50-81

As silly as it is, I love this garbage can.

We got an auto opening can because the wife's back is bad and stepping on a lid opener hurts her sometimes. We've been very pleased with it, the simple operation (push the power button if you want it to stay open for longer), the fact it plugs in so it doesn't need batteries, and thebag holding ring are all well thought out design features. The UV light does way more than I expected. I don't know if it makes any visible light because the can leaks no light, used florescent and glow in the dark stuff to try and see if anything got any light. The slight ozone smell from the can is only noticeable when it opens, and it's just the faintest whiff. Pretty odd to be excited and sing the praises of a garbage can, but they really did a great job. The only mild annoyance is sometimes when we walk by it we'll trigger the sensor, probably because your arm swinging when you walk just goes over the sensor. Can't think of any way the could stop that without making the can slightly worse.

Best prduct ever! Really neutralizes smells. No more smelling dirty diapers.
