I got this for an upcoming trip to India and the Himalayas. It will perfect for all my riding gear and personal items. The design to break down into two pieces provides lots of flexibility for packing and trips of any kind. Plus, the included gear bags are a nice added touch for organizing.

Mammoth, very well designed bag “system”
First off, this setup is impressively large. Yes, it meets airline checked bag limits when split apart. But this is the aircraft carrier of motorcycle gear bags.
Beautifully made and well thought out. I do worry some about the metal rod interior supports if handled badly at the airport, but the overall ruggedness of the bag is excellent.
The blue lining is a classy touch and aids visibility for the interior. Wheels are rugged and roll well. Grab handles are well positioned and zippers are sturdy.
I packed my helmet in the included helmet bag, but removed that before checking and hand carried my helmet. Also Klim (heavy) adventure pants and jacket, 2 pairs of gloves, armored bike jeans, an extra pair of Klim riding pants, my Sidi tall boots, and a bunch of miscellaneous items. All in just the lower bag portion. I packed street clothes in the upper bag portion sufficient for 2 weeks of motorcycle tour with no issue.
In a brilliant design, you can attach with zippers and Velcro the upper (thin) bag to the lower for ease of transport, then separate them at baggage check for meeting baggage requirements. The trick is making sure you don’t go over weight limits on the lower bag. I was at 55 pounds with no helmet on the lower.
This is the “Mack Daddy” of gear haulers. A+

Well thought out travel bag
There were so many features on this bag I had to watch the video on it. First trip I took it to the Philippines and when I rented a moto the guy knew Pete and had rented to him a couple years ago.
