Really fantastic boots, but need breaking in
I absolutely love these boots! They saved me during Snowpocalypse, and they're so damn good looking. I didn't really think about it before I bought these, but the 'mud' color in particular is patent leather, so they definitely take some breaking in. The issue is really only around the ankle, which is quite slim of a fit (and I think the reason people say to size up in these, as I find the length TTS). Also this might just be my pair, but I have found that the left boot fits my ankle well, but the right boot has really been rubbing against my ankle quite a lot--I've been covered in band-aids as I try to break them in. But fingers crossed that once they break in they will be perfect!
