Just over shoulder length blunt cut doesn’t look good with extensions

The halo hair piece is absolutely gorgeous. The packaging is beautiful and I was so excited! I am a busy mom and don’t have much time to look fabulous. I put the hair piece on but I am left feeling so disappointed with my own hair. My hair is abit on the thick side with a blunt cut. When I put the hair on my own hair just makes it look so unreal and u can clearly see the hair piece at shoulder length. Maybe I will wait for my hair to grow for it to look better.
