Excellent lightweight short, with off-sizing chart
I am a 36 in Dickie's, as well as a somewhat loose 36 in Chromag Pants, and my other shorts. I ordered these in a 36, and with the velcro and ratchet fully strapped down, they would fall off my waist when riding. I'm used to Chromag running smaller than the sizing chart (ie gloves and jerseys). That said, since I wore them for a couple rides, I ended up reselling on PB lightly used, since I could not exchange them. My thought was either sell and buy a 34, or have them hemmed. Well, I bought I 34 thinking maybe they also run large like the 36? Nope. 34 fits like a 34. I can wear the 34 on the loosest ratchet setting, but I have to unbuckle them if sitting down, such as in driving to/from the trail head. The advantage though is that the craw isn't loose and baggy, and doesn't snag on my saddle during descents.
As for the materials, I love how light weight, breathable and flowy they are. I wear my heavier Chromag Feint shorts or pants on brisker days, but these are so great for warm days. I love Chromag kits, but do find the sizing charts can be a little wonky. I just need to try things on with tags, and exchange if needed rather than sending it!

These run small and I was super disappointed in that. I got them from a great deal so I won't return.

Always snazzy
Love everything about these snazzy units. They fit great and have well thought-out features. With lighter fabric than the Feint shorts, these are perfect from all-day missions in summer heat to nap-laps (shout out to all the new mom’s and dad’s out there) in the fall chill. Get ‘em and get out there.
