Classic and well crafted

This watch presents itself better on the wrist than in photos. It's very easy to read when glancing down at the dial and the cathedral hands really pop! The lume on the hands works well enough in those transitional lighting conditions from day to evening but I would not rely on the lume for too long into the night. Overall, the watch is a bit smaller than I would have liked. I think a 40mm would have been perfect for my 7.25" wrist. The band width is also a bit too narrow at 18mm. But the band is of very nice quality and I love wearing it.

The Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer is the second watch in a four watch package for my wife. The case is a perfect fit for her wrist and the dial is a perfect size for her eyes. Watches should often be stylish but they must always be functional. The Hamilton is exceptionally both!
