I’ve only had the Cinoart PT2 Tamper for a couple of weeks and am still finding my way with it. It appears to be very well built and has the ability to tamp across a very wide range of pressures which are able to be programmed into the unit. Once you have set the forks to suit your portafilter you are basically set to explore the tampers features & settings. You can even set a few different light colours to suit your particular preference. It is tamping my coffee nicely and my shots are very consistent. Overall, I think it’s a great unit & Dipacci we’re very good to deal with from start to finish. Thank you!!

Cinoart PT2

A great automatic tamper for home that rivals the Puqpress for features. You can program 3 buttons independantly with up to 3 tamps with varying pressures. eg one tamp at 15kg followed by another at 5kg. It is the only one that has a self levelling system so if the forks aren't quite level then that is taken care of but with others if the forks aren't level then you don't get a level tamp. It isn't as compact as the Puqpress and I can't speak on longevity but it is solidly built and provides amazing consistency.
