Cherry Blossom, beauty personified

This is one of my favourite folding screens I’ve bought from the Kyoto Handicraft Centre. The painting is so evocative, it’s as if I’m looking at a real cherry blossom tree. Can’t thank the KHC enough, to have such great Japanese art is something to be prized indeed.
