I have had a small handful of fountain pens, including a Karas Kustoms Copper, Pilot Metropolitan, Monteverde Ritma, and now this Vanishing Point. The Ritma was nice for a more convenient magnetic cap, but the Vanishing Point is better balanced, more convenient with the retractable nib, and the clip being in the grip section just rests between my fingers so i can have a very lose but secure grip. The medium nib writes beautifully, very comparible line width to somewhere between a .5 and .7mm gel pen, but with just enough feedback to keep my writing closer together than I normally am worth a rollerball. Out of what I was able to fill in the converter, I was able to get about 5-6 pages of writing done before the ink was low in the converter. I'll either needs tips on getting a better fill, or I would recommend looking at Pilot cartridges or reusable cartridges for greater capacity.
