When, I needed to replace my controller and display screen due to severed wires, the Evelo team stepped up and had a replacement unit on it’s way to me within a day. I was able to replace the unit seamlessly and begin riding my bike again.

1. The smaller fonts on the display are very difficult for me to read. 2. I would really, really like to be able to display pedal cadence. 3. *** I got caught in a 20 minute rainstorm and the display failed the next day.

Skeptical of auto transmission... but it works really great!

The Omega checks most of the boxes I wanted in my first new e-bike…powerful motor, strong torque for hill climbing, comfortable cruising posture, belt drive, CVT for infinite gear ratios (within a range), hydraulic disc brakes. It also comes with auto-shifting, which I had not heard of before. I was skeptical it would work well and could just get in my way of when I wanted a higher or lower ratio for my desired pedaling performance. But their 3 week trial offer took the risk out of giving it a try. I was quite surprised by how effective it is and how quick it changes right to the gear ratio you need to maintain the specified cadence in the app. It truly is amazing! It takes your mind off shifting as you pedal, freeing your mind to think about riding safely, or enjoying the nature and beauty around you, or on videoing your experience with your action cam. The main thing missing on the Omega (for my 5th star) was that it has no front fork suspension. I nearly lost control on a ride after hitting a pot hole hard to see in the shade. If they would add this feature, it would be the perfect e-bike. For those who ride where roads are mostly free of hidden obstacles, then the Omega bike is perfect! Support from Evelo has been stellar! I had a firmware issue with my motor controller display. I contacted their support and they promptly sent out a new controller display for the Dapu motor at no charge! During pre-sales, I got all my questions answered by their team!
