I did thorough research on carry-ons, cross-shopping this with Tumi and the B&R hardshell (Sympatico). Ultimately, I chose the Baseline Spinner. I love the flat packing floor (no rails in the way), the specialized tri-fold garment section, the CX expansion system, and the classic aesthetic. What truly sold me was the unmatched lifetime warranty and superior build quality. It feels like a premium product meant to last a lifetime. I actually bought four of these to replace my family’s Filson Rugged Twill bags. While I loved the Filson style, I always worried about them getting damaged if they had to be checked. With the B&R Baseline, that worry is gone. Highly recommend if you are willing to invest in quality.
