Larkspur Crew Socks

For some reason, not as good as the pair I got about 3 years ago?

Several years ago I received a pair of these at a trade show as a sample to try and they became my favorite socks. I finally decided to invest in a few more pairs and show support. I was a little taken aback by the price but luckily some of the colors were half off, plus I paid full price for some other pairs. But for some reason, these are not as good as the free ones I got a few years ago. They are tighter and squeeze my ankles (I am small and skinny, I weigh 110 lbs only) and they are much longer, too long in fact.

Spectacular socks. They are Extremely comfortable and cute as all get out.

elegant color combo goes with so many things

The Larkspur offers a warm winter color palette that pairs so well with denim and/or suede clogs. I plan on playing up the pink in the knit with my Valentine's outfit. The Larkspur's elegant colors make them an easy outfit choice in heavy rotation among the Solmate pairs I own. I wear shoe size 8 and purchased a size M to allow for shrinkage in the dryer ...even though Solmate claims to allow for shrinkage in the knit. (A helpful saleslady at a local boutique that sells Solmate socks showed me how much her beloved size S Solmates shrunk with machine washings/dryings over time. Being on the high end of the size chart for a size Small, I didn't want to take the chance.) That being said, I noticed minimal shrinkage the one time they were accidentally dried in the dryer. In general, I wash my Solmate socks in cold water & line dry to preserve color & sizing ...and our planet!
