The bottoms are very slippery. I can't wear them on carpet steps at the moment, or outside on the slippery snow and ice, so It seems I must wait until the snow melts to walk the concrete a bit to roughen the walking surface which I hope may lead to more traction. They fit very comfortably so I will not be returning them hoping for the best.
