Solved power delivery issues

Many 3rd gen Tundra owners (mine is any early 2022 limited) don’t realize that the 10 speed transmission will stop delivering power to the wheels at slow speeds going up steep inclines. Toyota refuses to acknowledge the problem. I experience this problem daily due to the steep incline of my driveway. A regional service rep for Toyota came to my home to see this and acknowledged the issue but said the transmission is doing what it needs to do to shift from 2nd to 1st. The two other 3rd gen Tundras I have had at the house have done the same thing. I finally gave up on Toyota solving the issue and tried the Banks Pedal Monster. It’s been a week and only once was there a minor occurrence while climbing my driveway. It has also solved the lag from a dead stop. I run it at level 8 in City.

I purchased this for my Husband for Christmas… now he has no excuse to get home quickly after work😉. Hasn’t worked for the purpose I bought it for but my Husband is thrilled, Ive been thanked everyday since he installed it.

The Magnificent Pedal Monster

This device is the best thing I’ve installed to date, it makes a huge difference in the throttle response. It is easy to install and setup and will be easy to remove prior to taking the vehicle in for maintenance. The one thing I felt could have been different was the connection to the OBD port. With the connector setup on 90deg configuration I felt the connector could have been a little longer to allow the cable to clear the panel.
