The arms are a bit short for my liking, but it is a great base to build flight vehicles off of

Then a brick with a head flew by.
The Espossito was the first 30MM kit to disappoint me. When you advertise a transformation gimmick, you need to put some effort into it. The Espossito doesn't so much transform as crumple up into a ball. The geometry doesn't fit together tightly, and there are no pins or tabs to secure the components while transformed. Nothing indexes, nothing locks in place. The flight mode never looks quite right. The only difference between the Alpha and Beta versions is the color and the equipment. The Beta version is the worse of the two. It's flight mode resembles nothing more than a brick with a mech's head perched on one end. On the bright side, the Espossito's mech mode looks right at home next to the Alto and Rabiot, while still being distinct enough to not get lost in the crowd. Assembly is straightforward, just as you would expect from 30MM, and, apart from the transformation, the production quality meets the high standards we expect from Bandai.
