The frames are very thick, and the color is only on the front. On the edges of the frame, its a quarter inch (i measured) of clear plastic. The lens are good, but the heavy plastic frame hurts my ears after about 30 min, and the weight makes them slide down my nose. These are details you just dont get from the vertual try on feature. Im ordering a thinner, lighter frame to see if that works better, because Americas Best wanted $390 for progressive readers (+1.5), so its worth a try.
