With this rig, I can keep on bassing!
Old shoulder injuries were getting so bad that I thought I was going to have to lay my bass down forever. The Traveler 5-string Bass brought me back. It's a little different to work with. I need to EQ out highs and mids and I did get a volume pedal to have a little more control, but it's a blast!

Ultra Light 5
Nice bass. Great looks. Getting used to 5 strings, low B throws me off. I've been playing bass since 1975. And playing in A Brand New Hat since 1987. We play acoustic rock and bluegrass. I heep looking for the lightest bass and the Ultra Light is light weight, possibly lighter than my U-Bass. The sound is on the treble side of the spectrum. It's the nature of the beast. I'm going to try a stompbox equalizer into a Hartke KB12. This is my first 5. The low B will take some getting used to. The neck is longer than my Gibson and real long compared to Guild Jumbo Junior or Kala U-Bass. This is my third Ultra Light. I also have the Acoustic with Piezo under the saddle and Electric with stacked mini humbucker. Love them both.
